Advanced Leadership Programme

The key to creating and sustaining an innovative and successful organization is leadership. As competition increases and globalization offers a mix of opportunities and challenges, the role and importance of leaders attain centre-stage. Organizations take time to respond to the rapid changes taking place in the global economy. A good leader acts as a catalyst to continually evolve a work culture in the organization that is responsive and sensitive to business and administration. A leader not only has to have a bouquet of necessary skills, but also certain intrinsic traits of personality in order to handle organizational challenges. This does not come easily, as it requires a great deal of un-learning and re-learning. Everyone may not be a leader but each one of us has the necessary potential and requires nurturing in all types of organizations both public and private.

This Advanced Leadership Programme (ALP) is a transformative four-week engagement which creates an optimal learning environment. With a diverse participant cohort from different sectors, improved peer learning and a global, lifelong network of trusted professionals, the programme has been consistently appreciated. Participants invest four weeks to immerse themselves in new ways of thinking to enrich their ability to lead. The comprehensive curriculum and experiential approach extends a reflective pause in one’s career. The sessions are designed to be thought-provoking, keeping participants engaged and eager to apply their learnings within their organizations. They leave having gained new reserves of strategies and personal insights that can be put to use in their enterprises.

Eligibility Criteria: Senior Manager / Executive of PSU

The main objective of the programme is to enable the participants to enhance their leadership capabilities. It is both developmental and diagnostic, identifying areas with potential for improvement and enhancing skills. The purpose of this programme is also to provide participants with a set of essential skills that will contribute to their effectiveness at work. The other objectives are:

  • To prepare enterprise leaders capable of leading their organizations to achieve national aspirations in a globalized environment
