Building Capacity for Good Governance
IIPA Staff Association organized a Cultural Programme in Institute’s Auditorium on 14th August, 2015,  on the eve of Independence day, with the blessing of Dr. Tishyarakshit Chatterjee, IAS (Retd.),  former Secretary, Ministry of Environment and Forest, Government of India,  Director, IIPA and Patron of IIPA Staff Association.

The programme was organized after a long time and entire Auditorium was chocked-n-blocked by the audience. The preparations of this event began at least 10 days before the event. This event was organized to celebrate the Independence of our Mother India and show respect to all those brave leaders and fighters who gave us freedom on this day. IIPA paid its homage to them by organizing this cultural event.




The programme was presided over by Sh. U.C. Aggarwal, IAS (Retd.) Hon. Director, IIPA and former CVC .

The programme was inaugurated by him by lighting lamp along-with Dr. C. Giri, Registrar, IIPA, Shri Harish Dhondiyal, President , Mrs Bimla Sharma General Secretary,  Shri Bal Krishan Secretary, Shri Rakesh Joshi  Cultural Secretary, Shri Pawan Kumar Yadav, Vice President,  and  Shri Sharwan Kumar Treasurer, IIPA Staff Association.

IIPA Staff Association, the staff members, the faculty and the APPPA participants participated in the cultural event whole heartedly by showcasing their creative excellence.       National Consumer Helpline team members has given theatrical performance of Play ‘Jago Grahak Jago’ to make the people aware about their consumer rights, empowerment and protection.

ALL Faculty members and staff members along with their families were invited to attend the programme.  The programme had a packed house of appreciative audience.
The Registrar IIPA Dr. Chitra  Giri, gave away the Mementos to the participants  for their active participation and wonderful performance as a token of appreciation..
The event was concluded with a warm Vote of Thanks by Mrs. Bimla Sharma, General Secretary, IIPA Staff Association. She specially thanked Director and Registrar, of the Institute for their valuable contribution in making this event a reality. She also thanked the participants for their wonderful performance, which made the event a success. She gave a special thanks to all the members of the Staff Association for their active participation in organizing this splendid event.  The event was widely appreciated by the audience. It’s our honour that Dr. C. Giri along with his wife Mrs. Vidya Giri, kept encouraging the participants throughout the entire event and enjoyed the cultural progamme thoroughly and appreciated the entire event.

The Staff Association had arranged a farewell function on the occasion of retirement of member of IIPA fraternity Shri Ajay Verma, Sr. Private Secretary to Director, Mrs. Ranjeet Kaur, Superintendent, Accounts and Shri. Onkar Singh, MTS were superannuating from the services of the Institute on December 31, 2015. In order to bid them a fond farewell on this occasion, the Staff Association had arranged a farewell function in their honor in the Conference hall of the Institute.

Mrs. Bimla Sharma, General Secretary was started the Programme by well-coming the guests and she had entertained by Haryanvi Songs and jokes. The audience enjoyed the programme. Mrs. Sharma, had also given New Years Greeting and blessing to Sh. Ajay Verma, Mrs. Ranjeet Kaur and Shri Onkar Singh, in wishing them, a Happy, Healthy & Prosperous retired life.


On behalf of the Director & Patron of Staff Association the Registrar had preside over the function and readout the massage of the Director. Dr. C. Giri, Registrar, of the Institute well-come with flower bouquet & presented gift to Sh. Ajay Verma, Mrs Ranjeet Kaur and Shri Onkar Singh and appreciated their works. He wishing them a Happy, Healthy & Prosperous retired life and New Years Greetings.
